FSBI “VNIIOkeangeologia” conducts out airborne and marine gravimagnetic works.

Gravimagnetic studies are carried out for solving the following tasks:

• search for deposits of solid minerals;

• search for hydrocarbons;

• study of deep geological structure;

• structural and geological mapping;

• determination of the strike boundary by the outer boundary of the continental shelf;

Aerogeophysical set for surveying:

Mobile gravimeter "Chekan-AM"

Measures the increment of the acceleration of gravity relative to the initial gravimetric reference point.

Pendulum sensor.

Measurement range - 0-10 Gal.

Absolute error - ± 1 mGal.

Readout error - 0.01 mGal.

Sample rate – 10 Hz.

Aeromagnetometer AM-2M

The quantum cesium aeromagnetometer consists of two magnetically sensitive units installed along the longitudinal axis of the aircraft in the tail section. Designed to measure the modulus of the magnetic field induction vector during aeromagnetic survey.

Measurement range - 20 000 ÷ 100 000 nT.

The standard deviation of the random component of the error, no more - 0.05 nT.

Readout error - 0.001nT.

The sampling frequency - 10 Hz.

Magnetic variation stations MM-60

Designed to register variations in the Earth's magnetic field.

Measurement range - 20 000 ÷ 100 000 nT.

Systematic error, no more - 20 nT.

Standard deviation, no more - 0.05 nT.

Readout error - 0.001nT.
